Who we are

Ridge Orthopaedics Pte Ltd runs this website and the practice at the address below. In this notice, “we” means the clinic.

This notice covers personal data collected through the website, and when you contact us before becoming a patient. Once you are a patient, your medical records are kept under the separate rules that govern medical records.

What we collect, and why

When you send an appointment request, we collect your name, your mobile number, your email address if you give one, how you would like us to contact you, the kind of visit, whether you have a referral letter, and the days and times that suit you. We use these only to contact you about your request and to arrange an appointment.

The form asks you not to include medical details, scan results, your NRIC number or insurance information. If you include them anyway, we will protect them as this notice describes, but please give them to the clinic directly instead.

If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we use what you send to reply to you and to arrange your care.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them.

What the website records

This website sets no cookies. It remembers whether you chose the light or dark display in your own browser; that setting stays on your device and is not sent to us.

The service that hosts the website, Cloudflare, records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

The website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when you visit.

We do not use analytics. If we ever do, we will update this notice first, and ask for your agreement on this website before any measurement starts.

Who we share it with

Appointment requests pass through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a service that delivers the form to the clinic’s email.

The clinic’s email is provided by Google Workspace, so requests and emails you send us are stored by Google.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Singapore. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your personal data is protected to a standard comparable to that required in Singapore.

Apart from these, we disclose personal data only with your consent, or where the law requires or permits it.

How long we keep it

Appointment requests that do not lead to an appointment are deleted three months after the request is closed. If you become a patient, your contact details become part of your patient record and are kept for as long as the law on medical records requires.

Your choices

You can withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We will tell you what withdrawing means for you — for example, that we cannot arrange an appointment from a request you have withdrawn — and then stop.

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used or disclosed in the year before your request, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. We may charge a reasonable fee for access, and will tell you what it is before we proceed. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Keeping it safe

Appointment requests are read only by the clinic staff who arrange appointments. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the Act requires.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice before we change what we collect or how we use it. Last updated: 29 September 2026.
